About

Mission

I created this blog to produce Godly content for teen girls. In this day and age, I think having a solid foundation built on faith in Christ is important. The Enemy is everywhere in this world and we need to fight against his lies. However, we cannot do it on our own, for we are weak. With God’s strength and everlasting power, He will help us conquer battles. This blog is here to encourage girls in owning their relationship with Christ and allowing Him to be number 1.

I am not perfect because I was made imperfect and I do not know everything. This will be an encouragement not only for the viewers but also for the writer herself.

Let’s be a light in the darkness!

The Writer

I’m just a girl who is trying to live my life in a way that glorifies Christ. It’s rather difficult to not trying do it in my own strength as I like to be in control, but He has taught me that doing anything is only capable with the strength of my Savior for I am imperfect. I’ve experienced many ups and downs in my 17 years of living, and I’ve also learned how to trust God even more in all circumstances. Life as a Christ-follower will never be easy as people will not “approve” and the Enemy will always be ready to attack, but the Lord has shown me that what matters most is seeking Him and looking to Him only.

Honestly, I don’t really like to talk about myself, but surely you would like to know a little about the girl who runs this blog. I will keep it brief, but informative:

  • I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of 6.
  • I am a Bible Bee enthusiast.
  • Although I love to spend most of my time encouraging others and blogging, I also enjoy photography, reading, diamond painting, and fictional writing.
  • I am a Senior in High School.

Well, that’s enough about me. I hope and pray that my little corner on the internet may encourage you in your walk with Christ.

  1. Hi Heaven,
I found your blog from another AIO blog (don’t ask me how, lol it’s too complicated). I absolutely love AIO and was excited when I saw you had put that on a different blog about page. 😉 So far you’re the only writer who’s mentioned AIO so I am definitely following you. 😉

      • Oh cool! I wasn’t sure if you were the same Heaven (I love your name btw. I know a Nevaeh which for those who don’t know is Heaven spelled backwards 😉). I loooove your podcast. You guys have such fun personalities. You should make more although I get it. You both probably have busy lives.

      • Aw, thanks! And I’m glad you like the podcast! We’ve been talking about getting back into it, but it’s so hard since she’s working now. Hopefully, one day though! And wow, you’re an early grad? That is cool! We probably are around the same age, then. 😊

      • Oh cool! That would be awesome! Yup! I’m not required to do as much where I live. For example I only had to do 2 years of math and science. Plus I absolutely love learning which is another thing we have in common. 😊 Writing is also so much fun. I’m taking some classes on writing (high school classes) while I decide what I want to do with my life. 😉

      • Everything! Lol. The class I’m going to take is on persuasive writing though. Each class is a 6 week class with a 3 week break in between.

      • Wow, that’s really neat! And goodness, you’ve dabbled into a lot of genres. Have you ever completed a full story? You know, you should consider signing up for the King’s Daughter Writing Camp. It’s basically like NaNoWriMo, but for Christian young ladies across the world. Signups for the November camp start on October 17th, if you’re interested! Here’s the website if you want to check it out: http://kingsdaughterswritingcamp.com/.

I mostly like to write nonfiction, however, when I’ve attempted stories, I’ve written mysteries and realistic fiction. Honestly, I feel like I’m better at realistic fiction, but I’d love to write mysteries more as it’s one of my all-time favorite genres to read.

      • I’m actually planning on it. 😊 Somebody else said I should. I looked into NaNoWriMo but I didn’t want to do something secular if you know what I mean. 😉 Someone else on a different blog said I should look into that writing camp and it looks like fun so I’m going to try it out. Oh nice. Yup I just finished the 1st book in a trilogy and am in the process of editing it. I’m hoping to finish by November so I can start the 2nd book. Are you going to do this camp? I’m still trying to figure out which genre I like the best. Lol. I’m hoping to try mystery and thriller at some point as well. My contemporary book will also have a mix of fantasy and realistic fiction. It should be pretty interesting how it all comes together.

      • Oh, cool! I’m also planning to do camp, so it’ll be great to “see” you there! It’s so much fun. 🤭 Wow, that’s really neat! What genre is the trilogy in and are you planning to publish it? And a realistic fantasy will definitely be interesting!

      • I accidentally replied to the comment way down on the bottom so I copied the comment to avoid confusion. 😉 Ooh, nice. Can you tell me a little bit about what it’s like? Also does it cost anything? They don’t have much about it on the website. Science fiction and yes. I’d love to publish it when it’s done.

      • Ah, no worries! That has happened to me many times. xD So after you sign up, you’ll receive in your email a slack invite from one of the aunties. Once you “enter” the camp grounds, you will be assigned a tent with an auntie and roughly 20 or so campers. There are a lot of different channels for writing sprints, sharing snippets, or getting to know each other. It can get chaotic at times because there’s SO many girls, so your tent will probably be the best place for quiet. 😀 And nice, that’ll be neat!

  4. I love it! I decided to be baptized when I was 6 and started following Him.
In 2018 I realized at a camp that when I “Gave” my life to Christ Jesus I needed to give Him every part of my life. Not just the good or bad 😊♥️

You are beautiful and have an amazing blog!

  15. It’s nice to meet you! ❤ I also accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was 6 or 7 (it's been so long, I can't remember exactly now), but my relationship with Him began when I was about to turn 12. ❤ He has worked in my life so much since then!
I love encouraging people as well, and Jamie Grace is such an awesome singer!
